We are located on Shoal Lake, which is one of the best hotspots for Trophy Smallmouth Bass and Trophy Northern Pike in Ontario. Shoal Lake is the #1 rated drive-to Northern Pike Lake in Ontario. Even though we are well known for Monster Pike, the Smallmouth Bass fishing is just as good.
Guests can expect to catch hundreds of fish throughout the week. Our guides are local native people who have lived on the lake all their lives and know every inch of the lake as well as know where the fish are and what they are biting.
Northern Pike are common in every size but our claim-to-fame is the abundant number of trophies over the 20-pound mark that get caught and released all summer. Our guests catch pike in the 40 to 50 inch range and due to our catch-&-release policy; the pike fishing has remained outstanding.
Smallmouth Bass can also be caught in every size. There are lots of medium size Smallmouth Bass, which are the best jumpers, right up to beautiful Trophy Smallmouth. Most of our guests who spend time fishing for Smallmouth Bass will catch 3, 4 and 5-pounders with the occasional 6-pounder being caught. There are Smallmouth in Shoal Lake that are much bigger.
We also have Largemouth Bass. Largemouth Bass can be found in good numbers but nothing like Smallmouth Bass and Northern Pike.
