All of our guides are local aboriginal people who have lived on the lake all their lives and have years of fishing and guiding experience. We STRONGLY recommend the use of a guide for your stay with us. They will add to your experience by quickly bringing you to all the fishing hotspots as well as preparing you a superb shore lunch. Shoal Lake is a big lake with many bays and Islands. Our guides can safely navigate the lake thus maximizing your fishing time and bring you back to the lodge in time for dinner.
