Largemouth Bass Fishing:

Shoal Lake has lots of shallow weedy bays with bulrushes and lily-pads where you will find Largemouth Bass.

Shoal Lake is one of the better lakes in Ontario for Largemouth Bass with many 2 and 3-pound bass being caught. Largemouth Bass fishing in Ontario is not what it's like down south. We have a shorter growing season thus the bass rarely get over 5-pounds. They are still fun to catch but you should remember; the main focus of our camp is the outstanding Smallmouth Bass and Northern Pike Fishing.
